Zimbabwe Women Vs Pakistan Women – 1st T20I Match Highlight – 12 MAY 2026
There was something really enjoyable about the way Zimbabwe Women and Pakistan Women approached this first T20I on May 12, 2026. It wasn’t one of those perfect high-scoring games, but it had proper tension, little momentum shifts, and the kind of scrappy cricket that keeps people watching even when wickets start falling regularly.
Zimbabwe actually began with decent energy. A few early boundaries got the crowd involved, and for a short while Pakistan looked slightly under pressure. But once the bowling settled down, things became difficult for the home side. Dot balls started building up, batters tried forcing shots, and suddenly wickets were falling almost every other over. Still, Zimbabwe never completely gave up. They kept trying to push the game deep.
Pakistan’s chase looked calm at first, though it wasn’t totally smooth either. A couple of soft dismissals brought Zimbabwe back into the contest and made the final overs more interesting than expected. But Pakistan handled the pressure better in the important moments and eventually crossed the line without panicking too much.
Not the cleanest match technically, maybe, but definitely one of those games that stayed competitive almost throughout.
