Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals – IPL Match 62 Highlight – 17 May, 2026

Arun Jaitley Stadium was buzzing on Sunday night, and honestly, the match delivered everything you’d want from a high-stakes IPL encounter.

Rajasthan Royals batted first and got off to a flying start. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi looked dangerous at the top, with the scorecard racing to 75/1 inside six overs. Dhruv Jurel held the middle together smartly, and Riyan Parag chipped in during the middle overs to keep the momentum going. RR eventually posted 193/8 in 20 overs, a solid total, but maybe just five or ten short of what this pitch deserved.

Then came Mitchell Starc. The left-arm quick was absolutely relentless. He picked apart the Rajasthan batting order with sharp swing and clever variations, finishing with a stunning 4/40. His three-wicket over midway through the innings effectively killed Rajasthan’s chances of crossing 210.

Chasing 194, Delhi Capitals were nervy at times but never really lost control. The lower-middle order batted sensibly under pressure, knocking off the target in 19.2 overs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Starc walked away with a deserving Player of the Match award a performance that reminded everyone exactly why Delhi brought him in.

Result: Delhi Capitals won by 5 wickets Player of the Match: Mitchell Starc (4/40)
