So Saudi Arabia and Uruguay just finished their World Cup match with a 1-1 score. It was a really tight game and nobody expected Saudi Arabia to play this good against a big team like Uruguay.
The first half was quite boring to be honest. Uruguay had the ball most of the time but they just passed it too slow. Saudi Arabia stayed back with a lot of players and blocked every single cross. Uruguay strikers looked angry because they did not get any open space inside the box. Saudi had one quick run on a counter but the shot went wide. So it stayed 0-0 at halftime.
Things changed very fast in the second half. Saudi Arabia got a surprise goal around the 55th minute. Their winger made a fast run and passed it to the striker who just pushed it into the net. But Uruguay pushed back straight away. They got a corner kick ten minutes later and scored a nice header to make it 1-1. Uruguay tried very hard to get another goal in the last ten minutes but Saudi defense held tight until the final whistle.
