Pakistan Women Vs India Women – Women’s Asia Cup Match 8 Highlights – 05 Sep 2026
India Women had a field day in Dubai, steamrolling Pakistan Women by seven wickets in Match 8 of the Asia Cup.
Pakistan opted to bat first and actually looked okay early on, cruising to 27 without losing a wicket. Then the wheels completely fell off. India brought on their spinners, and Pakistan’s batting just collapsed out of nowhere. Young slow bowlers Shree Charani (3/7) and Prema Rawat (3/9) shredded the middle order, while Deepti Sharma chipped in with a tight 2/5. Pakistan ended up losing all ten wickets for a pathetic 28 runs, getting bowled out for 55 their lowest T20I score ever. Shawaal Zulfiqar was the top scorer with a meager 14.
Chasing 56 felt like a walk in the park on paper, though Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana gave India a tiny scare by removing Shafali, Smriti, and Pratika early. But captain Harmanpreet Kaur (18*) and Deepti Sharma (12*) kept cool heads and steadied the ship. Harmanpreet capped off the easy chase by launching Nashra Sandhu over the rope for a six, sealing the deal in 8.4 overs and keeping India undefeated heading into the semis.
