Espanyol 1-1 Real Oviedo - La Liga Match Highlight 09 March 2026

Not every match is about goals flying in every few minutes… sometimes it’s just tension, small moments, and a bit of frustration. That was exactly this one. RCD Espanyol vs Real Oviedo ended 1-1, but it felt like both teams had chances to win it.

Espanyol started brighter. More energy, quicker passes, trying to control the game early. And it paid off. A neat move, a clean finish 1-0, and the crowd got right behind them. For a while, it looked comfortable.

But Oviedo didn’t disappear. Slowly, they grew into it. A few half chances, some decent build-up… and then finally, that equaliser. Not the prettiest goal, but you could see what it meant to them.

Second half was… tight. Really tight. Lots of midfield battles, a bit scrappy at times. Both teams had moments where you thought “this is it,” but the final touch just wasn’t there.

In the end, a draw feels fair. Espanyol might feel they should’ve done more, Oviedo will take the fight.
