Sri Lanka Vs Pakistan – 3rd T20I Match Highlights – 13 Oct 2026
Pakistan had already won the series, but Sri Lanka made sure they did not leave the final T20I empty-handed. Chasing 169 at Rawalpindi on October 13, Sri Lanka got the job done with 17 balls to spare, winning by eight wickets.
Pakistan’s innings had one clear standout. Sahibzada Farhan kept the scoreboard moving even as wickets fell around him, scoring 76 from 47 balls with seven fours and three sixes. Arafat Minhas gave the innings a late push, finishing unbeaten on 34 off 20 deliveries. Still, Pakistan ended on 168/8, a total that looked competitive but not out of reach.
Sri Lanka lost Lahiru Udara early, yet the wicket did little to slow them down. Kusal Mendis took control with a superb unbeaten 87 from 48 balls, finding the boundary regularly and keeping the chase on schedule. Sineth Jayawardena added 38, while Kamindu Mendis stayed alongside the captain and scored an unbeaten 40 from 27 balls.
Their partnership took the pressure off Sri Lanka and left Pakistan searching for answers. The target was reached at 172/2 in 17.1 overs.
Pakistan still took the series 2-1 after winning the first two matches, but Sri Lanka finished with a convincing victory. Kusal Mendis was named Player of the Match for his match-winning innings.
