Atletico Madrid 1-0 Getafe - La Liga Match Highlight 14 March 2026

This had classic Atleti written all over it… not flashy, not chaotic, just… controlled in that gritty way. Atletico Madrid vs Getafe CF and yeah, one goal was enough. Again.

Atletico started with intensity. Not rushing forward blindly, but pressing hard, making things uncomfortable. Getafe tried to stay compact, sitting deep, waiting for a mistake. For a while, it actually worked. The game felt slow, a bit cagey… like it needed something to spark it.

And then it came. A sharp move, quick pass, and a clean finish. Nothing fancy, just precise. 1-0.

After that, it turned into a proper Atleti performance. Solid at the back, disciplined everywhere. Getafe had the ball at times, tried to push forward, but clear chances? Not really. Every attack felt just slightly off.

Second half was more about control than chaos. Atletico didn’t overcommit, just managed the game. Smart, maybe a bit frustrating to watch… but effective.

Getafe kept trying till the end, but it just wasn’t their day.
