Man, what a crazy game last night at Chepauk! Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans is always a massive clash, but Match 66 of IPL 2026 took the drama to a whole new level.
Gujarat batted first and honestly, they looked like they were playing on a completely different pitch. Shubman Gill was just pure class, anchoring the innings with a beautiful 78. Then Rashid Khan came in late and hit a couple of ridiculous sixes to push GT’s score to a very solid 185. CSK’s spinners usually dominate at home, but yesterday they just couldn’t find their line and length.
But you can never count out Chennai at Chepauk, right? Chasing 186, Ruturaj Gaikwad gave them a flying start with a quick 42. Then Shivam Dube came out and just started clearing the boundary for fun. He smashed 65 off just 30 balls absolute monster hitting! GT tried to fight back with two quick wickets near the end, but MS Dhoni walked in and finished things off with a classic boundary in the final over. CSK won by 5 wickets with just 3 balls left. The crowd went completely mental!
