England Vs Sri Lanka – Match 6 Pakistan ODI Tri-Series Highlights – 29 Oct 2026

England finished their Pakistan ODI Tri-Series campaign with a convincing 55-run victory over Sri Lanka in Lahore on October 29. It was a high-scoring contest, with both sides producing some excellent batting, but England had just enough control to finish on top.

After Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bowl, Ben Duckett made them pay for that decision. The left-hander played a brilliant innings of 167 from 132 balls, finding the boundary regularly and keeping the scoreboard moving. Tom Banton gave him excellent support with 74, while captain Harry Brook added 44. England finished their 50 overs on a huge 386 for five.

Sri Lanka did not give up easily. Kusal Mendis scored an impressive 89, and Pavan Rathnayake kept the chase alive with a superb 118. For a while, the visitors looked capable of making a real contest of it. However, England found important wickets when they needed them most.

Liam Dawson was the standout bowler, claiming four wickets for 49 runs. Sri Lanka were eventually bowled out for 331 in 45.1 overs, falling 55 runs short.

Duckett was named Player of the Match for his outstanding century. England earned a consolation win, while Sri Lanka had already secured a place in the tri-series final against Pakistan.
