This one had proper energy from the start. Not one of those slow tactical games where everyone waits around. Real Sociedad vs CA Osasuna and Sociedad just looked sharper almost everywhere.
They started aggressively too. Quick passing, movement down the wings, crowd fully behind them. The first goal felt coming for a while honestly. Osasuna were struggling to settle, always chasing the ball.
Once Sociedad scored, the game opened up even more. Osasuna tried to respond and actually had a decent spell midway through the first half. They pressed higher, won a few duels, and eventually grabbed a goal that brought them back into it.
For a moment, it looked balanced again.
But Sociedad reacted perfectly. No panic, no rushing. Just clean football. One slick attacking move later… 2-1.
Second half became more physical. Fouls everywhere, players arguing, tackles flying in. Osasuna pushed hard searching for another equalizer, but Sociedad looked dangerous every time they countered.
Then came the killer goal late on. Fast break, calm finish… game done.
By the final whistle, Sociedad fully deserved it. Not flawless maybe, but definitely the better side.
