rr got to bat first after losing the toss and things went totally wrong from the start itself. jaiswal got out on the very second ball trying to smash a big one. samson tried to save the team with a decent 45 but pat cummins bowled an absolute masterclass in the middle overs. he took 3 big wickets and gave away almost nothing. rr somehow dragged themselves to a pretty weak 152 runs on the board.
chasing 153 was never going to be tough for srh with the kind of batting form they are in right now. travis head just went totally berserk from ball one smashing sixes into the crowd easily. he made a quick 62 off just 28 balls to completely kill the chase early on. abhishek sharma also played a fine knock of 40 runs. srh chased the target down in just 16 overs with 7 wickets in hand. easy win for srh and they are heading straight to qualifier 2 now!
