Zimbabwe Vs Namibia – T20I Tri-Series Match 3 Highlights – 31 Aug 2026
What a finish in Windhoek! Zimbabwe somehow held their nerve when Namibia looked ready to steal the game right at the end. After a few twists and turns, Zimbabwe came away with a thrilling five-run victory in the third match of the T20I Tri-Series.
Zimbabwe were asked to bat first and got off to a flying start, with Ben Curran and Brian Bennett putting together a quick opening stand. Zimbabwe then slipped badly, falling to 101/6, but Ryan Burl changed everything. His unbeaten 57 from 32 balls, along with Brad Evans’ 37, pushed Zimbabwe to a competitive 195/6.
Namibia’s chase looked in trouble at 76/6, but then came a brilliant fightback. Zane Green smashed 54 from 26 balls, while Alexander Volschenk added 56 from only 29. Their 110-run partnership had Zimbabwe fans sweating! Namibia needed 11 from the final five balls, but Zimbabwe somehow closed the door.
Brad Evans finished with 37 runs and three wickets and rightly took Player of the Match honours.
