Multan Sultans Vs Islamabad United – PSL Match 40 Highlight – 25 Apr, 2026
Last phase of the league… and yeah, you could feel the pressure creeping in. Multan Sultans vs Islamabad United not the smoothest game, but definitely one that kept you watching.
Multan batted first and honestly, it was a bit of a mixed bag. A couple of nice shots early, some good intent… but they just couldn’t build that one big partnership. Every time someone looked set, boom wicket. That stop-start flow really held them back.
Still, a late surge gave them something to defend. Not huge, but enough to make things interesting.
Islamabad’s chase began cautiously. Maybe a bit too cautious. Dot balls started adding up, and you could feel the pressure building. Multan’s bowlers were disciplined, no freebies, keeping things tight.
But then came the shift. One solid partnership, nothing flashy, just smart cricket. Rotating strike, picking the right moments… slowly turning the game.
Even then, it wasn’t easy. A couple of late wickets made things tense again. But Islamabad held their nerve in the final overs and got it done.
Multan had chances… just couldn’t close it out.
