Italy Vs Nepal – ICC T20 Match 17 Highlight – 12 Feb, 2026
Man, Italy almost pulled off the biggest upset ever against Nepal yesterday. Nobody saw this coming at all. Match 17 of the ICC T20 tournament was pure drama till the very last ball, seriously. Nepal fans were literally sweating.
Italy batted first after winning the toss. The pitch looked a bit weird but their opening batsman started hitting some clean shots. He made a solid 45. Nepal’s fast bowlers looked totally lost at the start and gave away too many free runs. But then Sandeep Lamichhane came to bowl and fixed things up. He took 3 quick wickets to slow them down. Italy finished on 148, which looked small but it was going to be tough on this ground.
And yeah, Nepal’s chase started like a total disaster. Two wickets fell for basically nothing. The stadium went dead silent. But captain Rohit Paudel saved the day. He stayed cool and made a clutch 55 runs. Italy’s bowlers fought hard and took the game to the 20th over. Nepal needed 8 runs in the final over and somehow won it with 2 balls left. Too close for comfort!
