Total madness in Lahore tonight! Peshawar Zalmi somehow chased down a massive total to steal a 5-wicket win over Rawalpindi Pindiz in a match where bowlers basically had nowhere to hide.
Rawalpindi got put in to bat first and immediately went on the attack, stacking up a huge 214 for 4. Yasir Khan was the real star here, smashing 83 off just 46 balls with six monster hits over the ropes. Mohammad Rizwan chipped in with a steady 41, and a quick 37 from Kamran Ghulam made it look like Pindiz had put the game totally out of reach.
But Zalmi weren’t going to just hand it over. Mohammad Haris got the chase flying with a risky 47 off 28, and Babar Azam added a smooth 39 to keep them in contention. Pindiz pulled things back slightly with a couple of rapid wickets mid-innings, making it look tense for a bit.
Then Michael Bracewell walked out and changed everything. He blasted 35 off just 17 balls, while Abdul Samad hit a wild 33 off 11 to seal the win with five balls left.
