Brisbane Heat Vs Melbourne Renegades – BBL Match 2 Highlight – DEC 15, 2025
The second game of the Big Bash League season brought plenty of action as Brisbane Heat faced Melbourne Renegades on December 15, 2025.
Melbourne Renegades were sent in to bat first, and the early overs looked promising. Their openers tried to play positively, finding a couple of quick boundaries that briefly lifted the tempo. However, Brisbane’s bowlers soon found their rhythm. Tight lines and clever variations began to slow the scoring, and a pair of wickets in the middle overs suddenly shifted the momentum.
Renegades struggled to build long partnerships after that. Even though a few late shots helped them add some valuable runs at the end, their final total felt slightly below what they had hoped for.
When Brisbane Heat came out to chase, they looked calm from the beginning. The openers played with patience, picking the right balls to attack while keeping the scoreboard ticking with singles and twos.
Once the middle overs arrived, the Heat batters opened up a bit more. A couple of confident boundaries reduced the pressure and put the target well within reach.
With a few overs still left, Brisbane Heat comfortably crossed the line, starting their campaign with a confident victory while the Renegades were left searching for answers.
