RR vs SRH – IPL Match 2 Highlight – 23 Mar, 2025
The second game of the Indian Premier League season delivered a lively contest as Rajasthan Royals met Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23, 2025.
Hyderabad had the first chance with the bat. Their openers began cautiously, spending a few overs getting comfortable with the pitch before gradually picking up the pace. Once the timing started coming, the boundaries followed. A couple of clean hits over the infield lifted the scoring rate and gave their innings some momentum.
Rajasthan’s bowlers, though, refused to let things drift away. Tight overs in the middle phase brought two important wickets that slowed Hyderabad down. The momentum shifted slightly, even though a few late boundaries helped SRH push their total to a competitive mark.
When Rajasthan began the chase, the mood felt calm rather than rushed. The openers played smart cricket, rotating the strike and waiting for loose deliveries. Every now and then a boundary would break the pressure and keep the run chase under control.
As the game moved toward the final overs, the Royals were firmly in the hunt. A short but effective partnership in the middle overs made the difference.
Eventually, Rajasthan Royals crossed the target with a few balls to spare, starting their IPL campaign with a confident and well-earned win.
