Hobart Hurricanes Vs Melbourne Renegades – BBL Match 8 Highlight – DEC 21 2025
This one had that proper Big Bash randomness… a bit scrappy, a bit explosive, and somehow super entertaining till the end. Hobart Hurricanes vs Melbourne Renegades not perfect cricket, but definitely fun.
Hobart batted first and started with decent intent. A few early boundaries, some confident strokes… it looked like they might build something big. But yeah, wickets came at the wrong time. Just when one batter looked set, gone. That stop-start flow kinda held them back.
Still, they managed to push towards a fighting total with a late burst. Not huge, but tricky enough.
Renegades’ chase? Bit of a mixed story. Started slow, maybe too careful. Dot balls piled up, pressure creeping in. Then suddenly, momentum shift a couple of big hits, crowd waking up, game alive again.
But Hobart didn’t let it slip easily. Tight overs, key wickets… kept things tense. For a while, it honestly felt like anyone’s game.
In the end, Renegades held their nerve. A calm finish, no panic, just smart cricket to get over the line.
Hobart had chances… just couldn’t close it.
