India Vs Afghanistan – 2nd T20I Match Highlights – 15 Sep 2026
India wrapped up the T20I series against Afghanistan with another convincing win in Delhi on September 15. Chasing 160, India reached the target in only 14.5 overs and won the second game by seven wickets.
Afghanistan were put in to bat and finished on 159/8. Ibrahim Zadran made 37 from 33 balls, while Darwish Rasooli added a quick 26. Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan then gave the innings a late push, putting together 48 runs between them. Nitish Kumar Reddy was India’s main threat with the ball, taking 3/24.
India’s reply was all about Sanju Samson. The wicketkeeper-batter came out swinging and smashed 57 from just 22 deliveries, including seven fours and four sixes. Abhishek Sharma also chipped in with 39 from 19 balls, and the pair gave India a huge start.
Ishan Kishan stayed unbeaten on 38, while Tilak Varma finished with 15 not out. India crossed the line at 163/3 in 14.5 overs.
With this result, India took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
