Chennai Super Kings v Sunrisers Hyderabad – IPL Match 27 Highlight – 18 Apr, 2026
This one… honestly, it had that classic IPL unpredictability. Chennai Super Kings at home always feel strong, but Sunrisers Hyderabad came in with a bit of edge and it showed.
Chennai started with the bat, and for a while it looked smooth. Not explosive, just controlled. A few classy shots, good partnerships… you could sense they were building something solid. But then came that slowdown. Middle overs kinda dragged, and suddenly the total didn’t look as big as it should’ve been.
Sunrisers’ chase began carefully. No rush, no panic. Just picking singles, waiting for the bad balls. And when they came… they didn’t miss. A couple of clean sixes changed the whole mood.
There was a small wobble though quick wickets, a bit of tension, crowd getting loud. For a moment, it felt like CSK might sneak back in. But SRH didn’t let it slip completely. One steady partnership, calm heads, and they just… finished it without drama.
Chennai weren’t bad. Just felt like they left a bit out there.
