New Zealand Vs Bangladesh – 1st ODI Highlight – 17 Apr, 2026
This one had that slightly tense, “anything could happen” vibe from the start. New Zealand national cricket team vs Bangladesh national cricket team and yeah, it wasn’t just another routine ODI.
New Zealand batted first and looked… comfortable. Not explosive, but in control. Their top order didn’t rush, just built things up slowly. A few elegant shots, smart running, and suddenly the scoreboard was ticking nicely. Bangladesh tried to pull things back with some tight overs, and they did get a couple of important wickets, but it never fully stopped the flow. NZ ended up with a solid total one of those “you’ve got to bat really well to chase this” kind.
Bangladesh’s reply started with hope. A couple of boundaries early, some intent. But then, yeah… that familiar wobble. A wicket, then another, and the pressure just kept growing. You could feel the chase slipping, bit by bit.
Still, they fought. Didn’t collapse completely. Just couldn’t quite catch up.
In the end, New Zealand looked more settled. Not flashy, just better in the key moments.
