India Vs Pakistan – Asia Cup Super Four Match 2 Highlights – 21 Sep 2025
India once again had the better of Pakistan in Dubai, winning the Asia Cup Super Four clash by six wickets on September 21. Pakistan managed 171/5 after being asked to bat first, but India’s chase never really looked out of control.
Sahibzada Farhan gave Pakistan a solid start and made 58 from 45 balls. Saim Ayub added 21, while Faheem Ashraf provided a late push with a quick 20 from just eight deliveries. Those late runs helped Pakistan reach a competitive 171.
Then came the Abhishek Sharma show.
The Indian opener came out swinging and wasted almost no time settling in. He smashed 74 from 39 balls, including six fours and five sixes. Shubman Gill was equally useful at the other end, scoring 47 from 28 balls. Together, they put India in a very strong position before both departed.
For a moment Pakistan had a chance to fight back, but India kept their nerve. Tilak Varma finished the job with an unbeaten 30, and India reached 174/4 with seven balls still left.
It was another impressive win for India, with Abhishek Sharma taking the Player of the Match award.
