So Rayo Vallecano just managed a tight 1-0 win against Elche last night. Honestly, it wasn’t the prettiest football match to watch, kinda boring in some parts, but Rayo got the three points they needed.

Elche’s defense messed up a simple clearance after a cross, and Rayo’s striker just smashed it into the net from close range. Stadium went crazy. Elche tried to attack after that and put some pressure in the last ten minutes, but they just don’t have the quality upfront to score. Rayo held on till the final whistle. Not a classic game at all, but a massive win for Rayo at home.
