man ipl qualifier 1 last night was just pure unadulterated madness. gujarat titans and royal challengers bengaluru went all out for a spot in the final and seriously the atmosphere at the stadium was just insane.
rcb got to bat first and virat kohli was in a completely different zone yesterday. he started smashing boundaries from the very first over and the crowd was going totally wild. kohli played an absolute masterclass making a brilliant 85 off just 50 balls. maxwell also hit a few crazy sixes into the stands near the end to carry rcb to a really strong total of 192 runs. gt bowlers looked completely stressed out under pressure.
chasing 193 in a high pressure qualifier is never easy but shubman gill made it look like a piece of cake for a while. he started timing the ball beautifully and scored a classy 70. but then the game changed completely in the 16th over when siraj took two big wickets back to back. it came down to 14 runs needed off the last over. rashid khan tried his best hitting a massive six but rcb held their nerve and won by just 4 runs. rcb is into the finals now!
