New Zealand Vs Bangladesh – 2nd ODI Highlight – 20 Apr, 2026
Some matches just don’t go the way you hope… and yeah, this one had that feeling for Bangladesh national cricket team fans. Playing against New Zealand national cricket team at their home is never easy, and it kinda showed throughout the game.
New Zealand batted first and looked… comfortable. Not explosive, not reckless — just in control. Their top order built things nicely, rotating strike, picking gaps, and then the middle overs really hurt Bangladesh. A couple of big partnerships, some clean hitting towards the end, and suddenly the total looked a bit too much.
Bangladesh’s chase started with hope. A few good shots early, timing looked decent. But then came that familiar collapse phase… one wicket, then another, and things just slipped. You could almost feel the pressure through the screen.
There were small fights in between, a couple of batters tried to hold things together, but the required rate kept climbing. In the end, New Zealand’s bowlers stayed disciplined and didn’t let the game drift.
Not a total blowout, but yeah… New Zealand were just better on the day.
