United Arab Emirates Vs Afghanistan – ICC T20 Match 28 Highlight – 16 Feb, 2026
What a game we just witnessed between Afghanistan and UAE! Afghanistan won it by 5 wickets in the end, but boy, UAE gave them a real scare.
Rashid Khan chose to bowl first after winning the toss. UAE lost a couple of early wickets, but Sohaib Khan saved them with a superb 68. Alishan Sharafu also hit a quick 40, helping UAE reach a solid 160. Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai was the star with the ball, taking 4 wickets and giving away only 15 runs.
The chase wasn’t easy at all. Gurbaz went back early, putting Afghanistan under huge pressure. Ibrahim Zadran then stepped up and made a crucial 53, while Darwish Rasooli made 33. Things got pretty tense in the last few overs, but Omarzai turned up with the bat too. He smashed an unbeaten 40 from just 21 balls and won the match with 4 balls to spare. No wonders he got the Man of the Match award today for his crazy all-round show.
